This was a simple little tablescape I threw together to celebrate the first day back to school. We had a neighbor friend over, and the girls sat around the table sharing giggles and stories from their first day. It was so easy to put together. I grabbed the cupcakes from H-E-B, the cupcake holders and toppers from Minds Eye, and already had the banner from Etsy from my teaching days. I threw together a little bouquet with flowers from H-E-B, and that was it! Nothing fancy, just a sweet little way to make the first day back feel special.

I DIYed the pencil vase by hot gluing Ticonderoga pencils around an old canister I had sitting around and of course Smarties were must.
